RADical Days - Mattress Factory

This is a public event, not hosted by the Free & Almost Free group. If somebody would like to "host" (i.e. be at a specific place at a specific time), please add that in the comments below.

RADical days (RAD is the Regional Asset District, funded by Allegheny County) host free days, once a year in the fall, at the various organizations they support.

Mattress Factory

Free Admission: 1-5pm
The Mattress Factory is a museum of contemporary art that presents art you can get into — room-sized environments, created by artists-in-residence. Located in the historic Mexican War Streets of Pittsburgh’s North Side since 1977, the Mattress Factory is one of few museums of its kind anywhere. Accessibility: The Mattress Factory’s facility at 500 Sampsonia Way is fully accessible (enter from free parking lot at 505 Jacksonia Street); the museum’s facility at 516 Sampsonia Way is partially accessible; the museum’s facility at 1414 Monterey Street is not accessible. Wheelchairs are available upon request at 500 Sampsonia Way.500 Sampsonia Way (North Side) • mattress.org
