Many Voices. One Mission. Health For All.

For nearly seven years, Plant Powered Metro New York has led a regional movement for health — empowering our diverse residents and neighbors to achieve the health we deserve through plant-based nutrition.

We’re hosting our fourth annual Plantathon celebration, raising essential funds to achieve our mission of community health transformation.

Overlapping with Giving Tuesday, Plantathon 2025 will feature a virtual showcase over 8 consecutive nights with learning, stories of healing, lifestyle guidance, and on-air food demos. You'll hear from leading physicians, educators, chefs, and community members on the wide ranging benefits of eating whole plant foods — and the joy of healthful living.

Here’s our exciting line-up, all starting at 7:30 PM ET except where noted:

  • Monday, December 1: Chef AJ (demo) and Heart to Healthy Heart with Suzannah Bozzone, MD, and Csilla Veress, ND
  • Tuesday, December 2: Tim Kaufman and Rudrani Banik, MD
  • Wednesday, December 3 / Miércoles 3 diciembre: en español con Dra. Marcela Sandoval, PPMNY's Stephanie Cornejal (demo), y Dr. Diego Ponieman
  • Thursday, December 4: Chef Ramses Bravo and Matthew Lederman, MD
  • Friday, December 5: Plantathon throwback night with Ayesha Sherzai, MD
  • Saturday, December 6: Plantathon throwback night with Yami Cazorla-Lancaster, MD
  • Sunday, December 7, 5:00 PM ET: Cooking with Chef Carole Levy: Plantathon edition
  • Monday, December 8: David Bowman, MD, & Keisha Bowman, MPH, and Will Bulsiewicz, MD

When you register or make a general donation by December 7, you’ll be entered to win great prizes to support your healthy lifestyle! Prize sponsors include Vitamix. Winners will be chosen and announced the week of Plantathon.

While all Plantathon virtual events are accessible at no cost, we encourage you to make a donation. And every donation made through the end of the year will be matched thanks to a generous anonymous donor!
