When we come together to play and be, we are truly ourselves. When we are truly ourselves it is wonderful; and when we act collectively in that wonder, we do transformative work for our community and our world. {Brad Colby}

A giant BEAR HUG to all the FUNSTERS who showed up at the park last night! You all rock my world :) And a big round of HELLO?s to all the new members who are clearing their schedules to come out and play with us. We can?t wait to make you IT!

Last night?s games were a sweet mix of fast and furious peppered with exercising our hand-eye coordination skills (to better tag people with?mwha ha ha!) We?ve added more toys to our games and the result was more FUN, despite the increase in breathlessness ;)

Deke definitely escalated the challenge; managing to freeze FOUR players and almost succeeding in taking us all down in one wide sweep. Nuts to him! The competitor in me reared its beautiful head and released ALL of them, thus waylaying his evil plan!

But it?s not me that you have to watch out for. A couple of sly competitors have shown up on the grass. Oh yeah, they look harmless enough, could almost think them sweet, but be warned: it?s no mistake that one?s been knighted Zigg and the other Zagg.

And a tip of the hat must be made to Grazyna. She came prepared with all kinds of goodies for us ? a book of games, a hula-hoop and, my favorite, a whole stack of yogurt containers for us to use as boundary markers. We LOVE presents! Thank you!

Some crowing should be sounded for Marcy too. She said she was going to be the weak link. Ha! She quickly learned that we?re not duped by such words. She?s now known to us now as ?Trooper?. But I?ll leave the story of how that came to be for her to tell?do ask ;)

The games wound down when the street lights came on. We flocked round Heather ?cause she brought brownies :) See, she read the small print, and showed up with ?treats good enough for sharing?. Thanks Zagg! Chocolate was a good call.

Our next meet-up is only 13 sleeps away. Mark your calendars now!
I triple dare command you ;) We?re all looking forward to seeing your shining faces.

Smiles, Anah

ps: I forgot to check off my email address for replies on the announcement email that went out. Please email me directly rather that clicking on reply - which will send your words to the whole group (yikes!).
