Community Event: BBQ Without Borders 2025: No immigrants No Spice

Books tell a story, and this club is all about reading, listening and then discussing those stories. However, through talling about stories, we are also building a story and community of our own. This is not an event about books, but I wanted to yield the floor to support our long-time book club member Kanika in her chapter of working towards making some of the less heard stories heard.
I don't run this book club for profit and don't endorse or benefit from any community events that I am occasionally sharing here.

BBQ Without Borders is a day to show unity, cultivating a space where immigrants can celebrate their culture’s positive additions to our society.
Immigrants have long contributed valuable sustainable practices, from eco-friendly farming to a deep respect for nature, helping us “cook up” a more sustainable future.
