I post and host visits to the Rockwell about every 2 months because hands down they offer one of the best entertainment shows in LA. I have been to many shows all over SoCal and very jaded at this point, but the Rockwell consistently amazes me with the energetic performances of their cast. They sing, dance, and reenact scenes from movies that are themed to each show. I have seen the Baz Luhrmann show two or three times before and it is my favorite show from the Rockwell. They have made it impossible to not return again to see the show because they have revamped it and added scenes and songs from the recent Gatsby movie. So for sure I have to return. Come join me in Los Feliz to see a fantastical musical show at the Rockwell!!!

From Rockwell's website:

A little party never killed nobody…

Hold on to your cocktails as Harold Zidler and his Diamond Dogs take you on a thrilling ride into the cinematic and musical mind of famed director Baz Lurhmann. The star-crossed lovers of Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet, Strictly Ballroom and The Great Gatsby collide in this immersive theatrical concert and dining spectacle, where iconic music and moments from the movies spring to life all around you. Featuring a rotating cast of L.A.'s leading performers from music, stage and screen, as well as an epic soundtrack that includes "Lady Marmalade," "Kissing You," "Love Is In The Air," "Crazy In Love," and much more. Step behind the red curtain and see what magic awaits you at the newly re-imagined For The Record: Baz Luhrmann.
