Dong Nguyen is another San Gabriel Valley restaurant that has existed, in this case for several years, "right under my nose". Friends have mentioned this well reviewed restaurant to me but I never visited, up until now.

It seems from the reviews that the most popular dishes are the Hainan Chicken with Rice and the Bo Luc Lac (Cubed Beef Steak) either on Tomato Paste Fried Rice or TP Macaroni.

But this is a Pleasure Palate event so perhaps we'll go a little deeper into the menu?

Located on the North West corner of Valley Bl. and New Ave. in the city of Alhambra, they accept cash only so no credit cards, small bills preferred.
In order to try as many menu items as possible, please be flexible. This event probably isn't for you if you don't like trying new things or variety.
All of Pleasure Palate's rules (http://www.meetup.com/pleasurepalate/pages/Pleasure_Palate_Membership_and_Guidelines/) apply.
