Please Note: This is part of a series of events I am hosting in the Greater Santa Barbara Region which includes Ventura County. The events are a la carte eaning you don't need to attend the other events to attend this one. I am hosting this event for both Gay foodies and Pleasure Palate.
Take a step back in time as you visit Oxnard’s early pioneer families this holiday season and take a rare view of the interior of several of the Victorian homes decorated in holiday splendor. Our month long holiday festivities hope to bring families together this season.
Suggested donation is $5 per person
Gingerbread Houses on Display
Many delicious masterpiece’s out of gingerbread, icing, and any other edibles you can think of will be on display.
Spectacular Victorian and Craftsman-style houses, once owned by Oxnard pioneer families, are proudly displayed in a lushly landscaped square block of historic downtown. Homes are decorated for the holidays.
Docents provide an information-filled tour about the historic structures of Heritage Square and the City of Oxnard.
The tours are approximately 45 minutes long and include 3 interiors and 8 exteriors of the 15 structures on this block. Tours start at the Heritage Square Visitor Center at 715 South A Street, next to the water tower.
