Please post information about upcoming poker events (tournaments, etc.) in this thread. Meetup and Chicago Poker Meetup Group have no involvement in these events, and we have no idea regarding their legality or the integrity of their management. Please use your own adult judgement as to whether these events are legal in your community and something you want to participate in.

If it's an event at a local Casino, then please list it under the Casino Events sticky thread.

Also, please do not get into any "long-winded debates" about whether the event is "good" or not. If you have a strong opinion one way or the other, ONE POST is plenty !

Thank you !

We appreciate Joe forwarding the following information to the group. He also has a separate thread on this event. Meetup has no involvement in this event and cannot speak to it's legality. The details are strictly for the information of our members and it is up to you in your own judgement to decide if this event is legal in your community and something you wish to participate in. Good Luck!

Hey Bob.... There's another "sticky thread" now that deals only with the Monthly Meetups. Let's continue the discussion in that thread. Your suggestions regarding meeting places, times, subjects, etc. are most welcome.

Best,
Mike.

Hey Rich:

Thanks for the post and welcome to the group. I'm going to copy your post under a new sticky thread called "Chicago Area Casino Poker", where everyone can comment about nearby Casino table play and tournaments.
