The 2007 Chicago Grand Championship Poker Tournament series is now scheduled to kickoff on Sunday, March 18th. The first event of the series will be the 2007 Chicago No-Limit 5-Card Stud Championship. Subsequent events will include the 2007 No-Limit Lowball Championship, Omaha Championship, Texas Holdem Championship, and the ultimate prize, the 2007 Chicago No-Limit HELO-5 Grand Championship.

All of these events are open to ALL MEMBERS, however only those players on the 2007 Champions list are eligible for the Title. All other players are welcome to compete on the open tables for experience and playoff points.

Criteria for a guaranteed seat are any of the following:

1) 1st Place at either the Final Table or Open Table at a Monthly Championship
2) 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at a Seasonal Tournament of Champions (Spring, Summer, Fall)
3) At least 4 Top 5 finishes at monthly or seasonal playoffs
4) High ranking in total playoff event points
5) Top 20 in Total Player Score for 2006
6) Top 20 for Total Main Events Score, 2006

1) The players eligible for the Grand Championship are:
Ahmad Ahmad, Nate Beal, James Choi, Don Crosbie, Bret Dale, Matthew Dex, Iwona Filuciak, Joe Fitzgerald, Brian Fons, merri Furlong, Jared Gunn, Chris Heina, Matt Hollinger, Rebecca Hollinger, Ritta Jilwaya, Jim Kasmer, Milton Kwan, Chris Lackore, Jennifer Lewkowicz, Maverick Marquee, Tony Matthews, Diana Migala, Erion Postoli, Fabian Ramos, Daniel Rodriguez, John rogers, Joe Rondon, Ken Rubio, Edgar Sandoval, Larry Shaw, James Sodergren, Yoel SOmmer, Chris Turner, Rob Vinson, and Neville White.

IF your name is not on the list above, you are welcome and encouraged to attend this event and compete on the Open Tables for experience and playoff scores at this level of competition!!

2) The 2007 No-Limit Poker Grand Champion will be determined in 5 separate no-limit poker tournaments: 5-Stud, Lowball, Omaha, Texas Holdem, and HELO-5. You can find the schedule at the following page:

3) In order to qualify for consideration for the Grand Championship, you must participate in at least 2 of the 5 separate tournaments

4) The Player of the Year and Runner Up will be determined MOSTLY but not totally by the scores during the Year of 2007

5) The Players of the Year, the All-Star Team, the 2007 No-Limit Poker Grand Champion, and the 5 2007 single-game champions will all be inducted into the Chicago Poker Hall of Fame:
