LIMITED : Cemetery Shoot

Have been wanting to do a group shoot at Forest Lawn in Glendale and now finally have a chance.

***No Tripods or light stands allowed***

This is a private property. We have to be respectful, keep it incognito so we don't look like a big production. :)

I am bringing numerous speedlights. I will handhold them and share the trigger around if we want to light a few interiors.

Landscaped and opportunities galore. Walk to one structure, then so excited about the next structure that you don't realize that you have been up and down hills and stairs in this wonderland of photographic dreamland.

For those unfamiliar with appropriate cemetery etiquette. We must respect the living and the dead.

Walk in between the headstones, and don't stand on top of a burial place.

Don't touch any monuments, gravestones, or memorials. They are meaningful to the families who placed them there.

I can actually make it to this. I'm looking forward to it!

We will be ok if we keep it small. I have shot there numerous times. With my 4x5 camera and tripod also. ;)

Good chance to shoot models in interior of buildings and out of doors.

That's a good point, I'd feel better if we had permission rather than sneak around.

re below: Forgot to mention, the triggers are for Nikon (of course). Flashes work on everything.

Still waiting for my new knee leg to get a bit stronger, but I have 3 Strobie 130s (manual speedlights) http://scottrobertla.com/scott-robert-studio/srs-strobie-130/

    and 3 tiny triggers

If anyone would like to borrow them. No worries. They are all back-up gear. Yes, I am friends with Scott Robert Lim.
