Homer's Iliad Weekly Reading Group

This is the first session of an 11-week reading group on Homer's Iliad, the first of Homer's two epics, centered around the model of the Greek hero, Achilles.

We will read about 2-3 chapters per week, and our weekly meetings will be a time to discuss this timeless text and bring up any interesting themes/questions, etc.

This group will be capped at around 10 participants, and we are hoping to create a group that can meet together for all (or nearly all) of the 11 weeks, rather than having different people attend each week.
