This month the theme is Art Movements. There are many to choose from, but I selected the three below as this months exercise. Feel free to explore others if these three don't appeal to you. Break away from your usual style of painting and try something different. Most of the Art Movements are related to painting, but these techniques could be explored with other mediums as well... fabric, drawing, metal... the possibilities are endless. See where your imagination takes you.
Abstract Expressionism - an artistic movement of the mid-20th century comprising diverse styles and techniques and emphasizing especially an artist's liberty to convey attitudes and emotions through nontraditional and usually nonrepresentational means.
