Hi All,

Lavonne sent me this link It's a call to artists for a June show at Milepost 5. Check it out!

Also, you may want to subscribe to to find out about show opportunities nation wide.

Lastly, there is a class at Clark College seeking a couple more students:

Art Class Opportunity. This is the first week of classes for the Mature Learning Program at Clark College but it is not to late to register!  I am looking for a couple more students for my "Painting Abstractly and Montage Design" class. The class meets on Wed. afternoons from 1 pm to 3:50 pmApril 9th through June 11th, at the Columbia Tech Center campus for Clark College (on Mill Plain off of 192nd Ave).  There is free parking at this site. There is one scholarship available - contact Tracy Reilly-Kelly at [address removed].  To register on line go to and click on classes then scroll down to Mature Learning/ arts. Cost $110 for 10 weeks.

Course Description:
Painting abstractly stimulates experimentation, creativity and activation of your creative, intuitive art talent.  This class will explore montage design plus both figurative and total abstract painting.  Students from beginning to more experienced can work in one or more of these areas, using any medium - water media paint, pastels, collage materials or mixed media.  The focus will be on composition and design and students can explore and create at their own level.  Demonstrations and discussions will focus on the elements of good design.
