Last Minute Road Trip to Six Flags ?

Meetup Description:

Hola Mis Amigos!!!

It's about time for a summer road trip! One of your fellow Meetup buddies suggested a trip to a theme park, so that is what we are doing. See...we do listen to you! Here is the information about the Six Flags Road Trip. This is a lot of information but please read it thoroughly, so you understand the deal.

The estimated cost for the weekend is:
For 4 or more people in a room the trip will be $130 each.
For 2 people in a room the trip will be $175 each.

This includes theme park tickets, transportation, lodging, breakfast, gas, tax, parking, and tolls. Other meals and entertainment will be an additional cost. The cost really depends on the options chosen and how many people end up coming.

For those individuals making it a weekend road trip:
-We will leave the DC area around 7:00 pm on Friday 7/18 and arrive in NJ by 10:00 pm. Depending on how the group feels, we will rest, go out, or stay in and play games and cause a ruckus (just kidding). The next day we will meet up for breakfast at the hotel at 8:30 am. We will then head to Six Flags around 11:30 am. If we end up splitting up, we will later meet for lunch at the park and then make a decision on how much longer we want to stay at the park. That night we will rest, go out, or stay in and play games and cause a ruckus (not kidding). It's really that simple. We will be less than an hour from New York City so we will probably venture there to Times Square and go to the Comedy Cellar ($15 ) or check out the play My First Time ($35). It will be a group consensus.

But for two nights in NJ, are we going to do something besides just go to Six Flags? Of course! You know that I am going to have the game night on lock. But besides that, there are a couple of other options that I have been looking into that are close to the hotel including clubs/lounges, bowling, restaurants, etc.

NOW TO THE COSTS:
Tickets:
Cost $25.00 +tax and delivery (Single Day Ticket)
Once you have confirmed that you are attending, I will email you the link for discounted tickets. These tickets included free admission to Wild Safari. You can either print it at home with Print-N-Go for $3.00 or for $5.00 you can have it mailed to you using first class mail. However, if you have a season pass for any of the Six Flag parks, you can use it at Six Flags in NJ.

Hotel:
Homewood Suites by Hilton is a fairly new hotel in Someset, NJ. Every suite features a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The suite is large and includes all the comforts of home including two TV's, Video Cassette Player or on-demand movies, complimentary High Speed Internet Access, and two phones with data ports. The hotel provides a complimentary hot breakfast seven days a week.

Option 1 Cost: $125/night or $287.50 total
$125/night 2 bedroom suite comes with 1 king bed in one bedroom, 2 queen beds in the other bedroom, and 1 full sleeper sofa in the living room (sleeps 8 people).
*I have already reserved this room.

Option 2 Cost: $89/night or $204.70 total
$89/ night 1 bedroom suite comes with 1 queen bed in the bedroom and 1 full sofa bed in the living room (sleeps 4 people).

Transportation:
Now for the transportation? If you would like to ride with me, I have 3 options depending on the total number of people coming.

Option 1 Cost: $30/ per person (12 Passenger Van)
I can rent a 12 passenger van for $297 for the weekend. So for 12 people, it will be $25 each and for 10 people it will be $30 each.

Option 2 Cost: $20/ per person (Full Size Car)
I can rent a Full Size Car for $80. So for 4 people it would be $20 each.

Option 3 Cost: $0/ per person (Full Size Car)
Myself or someone else can drive their own car.

Now if you want to drive your own car, of course everyone would have to put in for gas, tolls, and parking. I will do an estimate of those cost and they will be divided by the people in the car.

FINAL COST
The price of the trip depends on everyone's choice. But here are some scenarios:
4 people in a room:
4 people in a room - $287.50/ 4 = $72.
Tickets to the park - $25
Total individual cost = $97.00
Add in cost of gas and tolls and I would say the trip will be $130.

So here are the questions that you would need to answer:
Do you want to share a room?
How many people are you willing to share a room with?
Would you prefer being in the room with the same sex or does it matter?
Are you coming solo or are you bringing someone/people with you?
How many people do you intend on coming with you?
Will you need a ride?
Are you willing to drive?
If so would you be driving your car or a rental?
Are you doing the one-day excursion or the weekend road trip?

Please let me know by ASAP or by Friday July 11th if you are interested in coming and the answers to the questions above.

SEE YA!!!!!
