We are a group of people interested to learn about how to create a better life and improve our sense of well-being day-to-day. This relatively new discipline called "Positive Psychology" encourages individuals to acknowledge and focus on the GOOD aspects of their lives and build from there. Simply put, rather than focusing on what's wrong and trying to fix it....we focus on what is going right and trying to expand it.
Studies show that roughly 35-40% of our perceived happiness comes from brain activity that we CAN CONTROL. We can strengthen these capacities, become happier, healthier, more resilient beings -- more able to cope with the challenges when they arise.
