Things are heating up for me at Social Reactor and I'm excited to share some of our startup lessons learned. One of my favorite moments materialized yesterday in a breakout room at the Speak Easy co-working space.
One of my closest friends and mentors, Jeb Banner, walked our entire team through an exercise to identify what he calls a cultural "North Star." Maybe you know Jeb or have spoken with him before. But you may not understand just how valuable some of his organizational strategies and culture-powered marketing methods can be.
I'm so stoked to have Jeb join us at next Thursday's Verge event as our fireside chat presenter. We also have two new startups (and current Mira Award finalists) who will be ready to pitch:
BlueBridge Digital (http://bluebridgedigital.com/), a leading provider of digital strategy and mobile software that empowers organizations of all sizes to communicate with their customers through the mobile channel. Max Tradein (http://www.maxtradein.com/content/), a free platform which allows you to get multiple real-time offers tied to your trade in value without the stress of negotiating with several dealers or relying on recommended book values for your car's worth. Jeb Banner (https://twitter.com/jebbanner), CEO and founder at SmallBox (http://www.smallboxweb.com/) and co-founder of the Speak Easy (http://speakeasyindy.com/). This fireside chat will explore creative strategies for your startup and powering your marketing by prioritizing organizational culture. Let's kick things off at a later-than-usual 7:00 PM next Thursday, February 28 at the Speak Easy.
We're also hosting a special pre-party for those Verge and Speak Easy members who are going to South By Southwest (SXSW) this year. We'll kick that off just prior to the Verge event (that's why we're starting a little later than usual). To see who else from Indiana is going to SXSW, or let others know you're going, check out INbySXSW now. (http://in.bysxsw.com/)
Hope you'll be able to grab a spot and join us.
