It was great to finally meet Grant Stinchfield.

Five years ago, Grant was an investigative reporter for NBC 5 which featured numerous segments on "Identity Theft". Little did he know that these reports were instrumental in passing not only Identity Theft Laws in Texas but numerous states across America.

These results contributed greatly to having "Consumer Credit Bureau Freeze Laws" passed in forty-six states by the end of 2009.

It also made my job easier when I obtained the police report on the "VA Security Breach" in 2006 and by November 2007, allowed 26.5 million veterans and 2.2 million active military freeze their credit bureau files in all 50 states at "ZERO COST".

As always, "My Ambassador of Free Publicity", Jeff Crilley, always brings us great speakers.

This meeting will now allow me to be "Grants" go to expert on Identity Theft. Who knows, this might lead to an appearance on "Good Morning Texas" or maybe on the national network shows.

I met some interesting people. I have new Contacts and Business Resources. I felt Grant connected well with the room and I liked him personally. I'm listening to Channel 5 as I'm writing this. ;) Maybe Grant will use me as a Computer / Identity Theft expert.

OMG! This Meetup was AWESOME! I got Grant's biz card and am pitching a news story to him next week. I got Jeff Crilley's card, too! I've been spending so much time lately marketing myself on Facebook/Twitter that I've rarely left my house. It was so good to get out and meet some professionals in the area. Talked to Alexander Antonio - The art of Haircraft, Bill Wallace - Wallace Financial Group, Brad Versteegh - MP of Vantage Barter, K'ai Roberts - Magnus Media USA, and Terry Touchstone - fellow Real Estate Broker. It was so much fun. I've been a member since Jan. 2008 and this is only my 2nd Meetup. What have I been doing the past 2 1/2 years. I'll never miss another one! Well, I might have to if I get the Oprah "OWN" casting call. I'm submitting my online audition today and have until 11:59 PST on 7/3/2010 to get as many votes as I can. I'll send everyone the link as soon as my video is approved by the producers. Very exciting! PS: Birthday on 6/29! Happy 31st to me :-)
