This one hour class is designed for ALL levels, from the brand new beginner yogi to the seasoned practitioner.
An all levels class that begins with a focus on, and an awareness of, the breath followed by a gently flowing practice with longer holds of poses to allow for a deeper opening and connection to your yoga and yourself. Offered as an option to the more vigorous classes, this new addition to the FORM schedule will give you the chance to release toxins, restore energy and leave feeling rested and rejuvenated.
Whether you are recovering from an injury or trauma, seeking stress relief or interested in exploring a change of pace from a more vigorous practice, adding a weekly dose of Gentle Form is just what the doctor ordered.

About Lisa: For nearly a decade, Lisa has had a dedicated daily yoga practice including hot vinyasa, hot core power, Bikram, Pranakriya and Anusara. She received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification in Pranakriya yoga, a direct lineage of Kripalu yoga, and also holds 100 hour certificates in Hot Core Power and Heated Vinyasa. She is taking courses towards her 500 hour yoga certification with an emphasis on yoga therapy. Lisa is trained in Radiant Child Kundalini and Grounded Kids yoga, and is a certified holistic nutritional consultant, recently graduating Cum Laude from Hawthorn University. She currently teaches at an innovative and spacious studio, Form Yoga, in downtown Decatur, as well as at churches, schools and her home studio. Lisa teaches all ages and levels, vinyasa style, gentle stretch, classes for active seniors, chair yoga, meditative Pranakriya classes, and anusara influenced classes.
