Welcome back to this discussion centered around getting the life you want.

In Part Two of this discussion on passion, we will continue our conversation on how to build a meaningful life. A life defined by purpose and a path to have a clear understanding of our responsibilities. How to cultivate passion in our lives that become the driving force for positive change in our lives.

As you look at the reality of your life, ask yourself two questions.

First, are you creating the life you want?
Second, if not, why not?

Nice Guys are generally intelligent, industrious, and competent individuals.

However, they spend so much time seeking approval and playing it safe, that they typically fall short of being all they can be.

Nice Guys are deeply afraid, not only of failure but sometimes of success.

Let's discuss the ways in which Nice Guys sabotage themselves, and get stuck in lives of mediocrity.

Then let's talk about how we can free ourselves from this rut, by facing our fears, learning to chart our own path, letting go of perfectionism, learning to ask for help, identifying self-sabotaging behaviors, and developing a more accurate view of the world.

Let's also talk about the importance of having a purpose, and how we can find that purpose and be truly fulfilled in our lives!

This is the last (official) Tuesday meeting of 2024. We take this meeting as an opportunity to reflect upon the year gone by and the things that we are grateful for. This is also a time to take note of the lessons learned and celebrate our successes.

This gratitude exercise is a great way to wrap up the year. It is a reminder that no matter how difficult things are, there is always something to celebrate.

Did you switch to a better job?

Did you end a relationship that was detrimental to your well-being and personal growth?

Did you improve your mental health and set better boundaries at work and in relationships?

We would ask you to share the little wins and what you are grateful for this year.

An exercise like this prevents us from going into the holidays with doom and gloom. You prepare for the upcoming year, which you see as a chance to build upon all the work you have put in through this year.

Let's get together as a community this week and celebrate the many gifts that the universe has bestowed on us.
