Who we are
We are an emerging movement of ordinary people from a variety of contexts, occupations, cultures and interests. Through learning opportunities and initiatives, we seek to better understand what is going on around us, why it is going on, what ought to be going on, and how we might respond. Our agenda is to make a constructive impact on our life and work, our communities, within public life, throughout society, and around the globe. We participate in workshops, talks, seminars and events 'of the underground' ... engaging critically with matters typically ignored, misunderstood, trivialised, invalidated, challenging, hard to grasp. The knowledge, values, skills, and competencies gained must relate to the everyday lived experience of the most vulnerable in our society and be responsive.
