Let's talk about the most revolutionary and transformative technology created in the past decade.

During this session, we will explore what VR is, how it works, how to use it, how it will impact half of the industries of the planet, and what to expect from what was called "the definitive platform" by Saint Zuckerberg. More than 6 billion invested on it in the past year. Every tech company spending solid bucks on R&D. Apple being late as always. Google launching Google Earth on VR so you can visit your childhood home (what!?). NBA matches in your living room sat next to Rober De Niro. VR means fun stuff and that's what you will get at this talk

    Timeline:

    6:30 - 6:45 pm - Meet & Greet
    6:45 - 7:30 pm - Speaker Discussion
    7:30 - 8:00 pm - Networking
*wine & refreshments will be provided

    Meet our Speaker: Nicolas Alcala

Nicolas believes in doing more than he believes in talking. Instead of finishing his degree, he commanded a team of 200 people to make The Cosmonaut, one of the first transmedia experiences. It was licensed under creative commons and crowdfunded by 5000 people, raising more than half a million dollars. In the process, he directed a feature film and 36 short films, received international awards, wrote a book and gave more than a 100 talks in 4 continents.

He learned how to write. How to create compelling visuals. How to reach audiences and engage with them. How to build beautiful products. And, also, failed a lot. And then failed some more and after that he learned to fail faster and better.

What truly matters to him is to wonder people. To create magic. That’s the reason he tells stories and why he does what he does.

Recently, he was selected among 79 other beautiful minds from 44 countries to be part of Singularity University Graduate Program, a university created by Google and NASA along with Peter Diamandis and Ray Kurzweil. He is also a part of the network of young global talents called Global Shapers of The World Economic Forum.

He created his second company, Future Lighthouse, an awarded virtual reality studio in which they create amazing experiences to transform the world of storytelling.
