One of the key pillars of good product development is knowing the user. This is sometimes skipped over, but not tonight as we immerse ourselves in the field of user research!

Whether you’re exploring a new problem space, validating a solution idea, or looking to figure out whether your designs are usable, talking to users can make all the difference. Unfortunately, too few companies have figured out how to do this research effectively and efficiently. Asking the wrong questions or speaking to the wrong people can lead to bad product and design decisions.

We’ve invited product, design and research leaders from Pivotal Labs, Alpha, Full Story and Meetup to share their experiences with us via a series of lightning talks. They will speak about user research pitfalls and best practices, how to do research if you don’t have dedicated researchers, and more.

Please meet our guest presenters:
Pranay Sethi, Product Designer, Pivotal Labs

Agata Bugaj, Product Manager, Full Story
