What makes you a good product manager?

Empathy. I think that it's important for product managers to get into the mind of their users; become a power user of their own product. This allows you to directly feel the pain, and ultimately satisfaction, of using your product.

What do you love about being a product manager?

Creativity. Being a product manager allows me to be extremely creative in a highly technical role.

What do you hate about being a product manager?

Process. In the power triangle of People, Product, and Process I truly prefer People and Product. Sometimes process can get in the way of focusing on good product development. At the same time, it's important to understand efficient process in order to keep things moving forward and to avoid roadblocks. I guess it's a love/hate relationship.
