Reimagining Collaborative Leadership in a Disruptive World with Jill Birch

After living through a pandemic that won’t seem to let up, project management leaders are seeking to grow their leadership, enhance team strength and ensure strategic imperatives are powerful, yet reflective of new realities. All of this translates into leaders needing to balance tension in three domains: being bold and thoughtful; being intentional and flexible; and finally, being pragmatic and humane.

As they emerge from the pandemic, leaders will want to ask themselves, “How will I lead differently in the future?” New behaviors and new ways of seeing through the eyes of others are needed. A second question leaders will ask is, “How do I prepare myself to embrace an innovation agenda that is as ambitious as it is results driven? Learning about how we view opportunities and challenges through different lenses will be vital to this work.

Most significantly, leaders will need to ask, “How do I support my peers and our teams to reach goals that demand ever greater amounts of dedication? While capabilities like agility, advocacy, resilience, and decisiveness are not new, the degree of intensity and focus expected of leaders is. Leaders will need to develop coaching and mentoring skills to help their teams while nurturing culture.

Join this energizing keynote address to learn how relational leadership will inspire, motivate, and embody new ways to think about how we lead, how we develop ourselves – and others - as leaders.
