We're a group of local WordPress developers, designers, and publishers who get together to share our knowledge and experience, and to meet other WordPress users in the area. This WordPress Meetup is open to all who love WordPress --- join us!
AGENDA: This will be a multi-part meetup. We'll start out with a short presentation, and then move into a "happiness bar" with tables devoted to different areas of discussion.
*Lightning Talk Speaker = Diving Into Google Analytics Without Getting Overwhelmed. Ashley Chadwick's 15-minute presentation with discuss the value of analytics data and how it can inform decision-making for your website. She will touch on points relevant to you whether you simply edit content on your site or are a professional designer, developer, etc.
*Happiness Bar = This is a great way to get any questions answered, or simply network with other 'Pressers. Topics include: Coding/Dev; SEO/Marketing/Blogging; New to WP/basic use (Dashboard).
1. Yourself, your questions, and your expertise. Please come!
2. Laptop or tablet (optional).
3. Business cards to share.
4. Friends, co-workers, etc. Anyone interested in WP!

We will talk about hosting, installing WP, the WP admin interface, themes, plugins, making money with WP, business practices, support, teaching and learning WP, e-commerce, and lots more. Different subjects each month.
NOTE: Food is provided, either a snack or light lunch, on a rotating schedule.

There is a cost to attend this event; WordCamps are typically $20-$40 per person and include several meals. Tickets will go on sale later this summer.
This fall Boise will be host to the first ever WordCamp held in the state of Idaho. The two-day event will be November 15-16 at Boise State University.
We will have WordPress-focused talks, sponsors, networking events, swag, and new friends! It’s going to be a great time, and we hope you will join us for it!
WordCamps are attended by designers, developers, business owners, bloggers, copywriters, consultants, hobbyists, students and educators, employees who use WordPress as part of their job, and anyone else who uses WordPress in any way. Attendees of this community event range from the novice who is brand new to WordPress, to the savvy WordPress power user, to advanced designers and developers who make their living with WordPress.
