This is a group for anyone who uses the WordPress content-management system (CMS) in their daily lives, whether it be for work, school, a hobby, etc. Just like WordPress itself, this group is open and accessible to all skill levels, from beginner to power user to plugin developer to theme author. Come and share your knowledge and expertise, learn from others, and share best practices. Founded in January 2016.
Guest host/presenter: Tom Nesler (thanks for offering to host/present in Eric's absence!)
Doors open at 6:30PM for social time/WordPress Q&A. Presentation begins at 7PM.
Do you like to buy a simple WordPress theme and then purchase plugins as you need them, developing a toolkit as you go, or would you rather buy an all-in-one theme which has everything you could need and a lot more?
We will be looking at the pros and cons of multipurpose themes with their own page-builders and plugins. Specifically, I will be doing a short demo of two all-in-one tools. People who have tried other multipurpose themes are invited to demo them or discuss how you liked or disliked them.
Find out if Framework themes are walled gardens or a kinder, gentler version of WordPress.
