Your SEO depends on your accessibility and you didn't even know it!

Did you know that your websites SEO is directly tied to the accessibility of your website? In this talk, we explain how SEO and accessibility are tied together and what you can do about it. We will show you how to help your SEO and how to gain access to 100's of millions of people your competition is excluding. Please come armed with questions as we will begin our session with an "ask us anything" segment. We encourage you to bring your laptop. Time permitting, we will work with you on a crowdsourcing solution for challenges that you may be facing within your own organization. If you are having any problems with your WordPress website or are interested in growing your understanding of the platform, this is the meetup for you. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. There will be plenty of time to network with fellow WordPress users and individuals in the higher education industry. Please be sure to come early and bring business cards.

Online marketing has many steps and before you can get to one million hits, Chris is going to help you put the tools in place to get thousands each month.

How GPS and WordPress can help you and your business.

Note that this talk will be on Wednesday this month! Come join us for a talk about how GPS and WordPress work together and how you can benefit as a business owner or developer from GPS Plotter. We will discuss the history of GPS and WordPress as well as how GPS Plotter was built and what it can do for you. We will also be discussing Google Maps and Openstreetmaps and how they differ from one another as well as their inherent advantages/disadvantages. In addition, we will go over some of the nuances of maintaining your plugin on the WordPress repository from getting started to supporting your software. If you are interested in GPS or would like to learn more about making your own plugin for the WordPress repository this is the meetup for you. As usual, we will have an "ask us anything" segment at the beginning of the meetup. If you are having issues or you have any questions that need answers this is a great time to ask them. We will be crowd-sourcing answers so bring your laptop and your questions. We open the doors at 6pm and we will start the meetup promptly at 6:30pm.
