Hello Everyone!
We will hike in Arrabida, from Sesimbra to Calhau da Cova. Nice hike with the view of the ocean. We will follow mostly the same path on the way back.
Length: 13km. Elevation gain: 587m.
Difficulty: Moderate. The descent to Calhau da Cova (140m) is more difficult than the other parts because of the loose path.
You can take the bus (3721) from Sete Rios to Sesimbra. It leaves at 9:15 am. On the way back you can take the same bus at 4:30 pm or 5:30 pm.

We will meet at Sesimbra Bus terminal at 10:10 am. It is the starting point.

Pack a picnic lunch and at least one and a half liters of water. Hiking boots, a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses are advised for a comfortable hike. You can bring a raincoat with you, just in case.
This event may be rescheduled/canceled depending on the weather conditions.
If you would like to contribute towards the Lisbon Hiking Meetup costs, please prepare a contribution of 2 euros per person for this coming hike. This is simply a chance to contribute toward the group's costs.
Whether you already have a place or are still on the waiting list, if you later change your mind about coming, then it is very important that you change your RSVP, so another member can participate instead. All the participants need to be on the main list.
It is not allowed to smoke and to leave any trash during the hike!
