You will learn how to breathe for emotional intelligence, balance your nervous system, use breath as a powerful tool for trauma relief, and access altered states of consciousness.
During the events, you will get a chance to improve your physical and mental well-being through conscious breathing techniques, somatic bodywork, and psychoeducation.
You will learn new tools needed to experience greater self-awareness, a clearer mind, and a deeper connection to your bodies.

Fear hides as tension. Sadness becomes fatigue. Shame lives in the gut. Grief freezes the breath. And the body remembers it all.This is not just a breathwork session.
It’s an immersive somatic experience for anyone ready to reconnect with their body, move stored emotion, and build personal tools for long-term emotional resilience and body awareness.In this 2-hour session, you’ll be guided through a carefully designed sequence of:
- Transformational breathwork (trauma-informed, nervous system aware)
- Somatic practices to support emotional release and reconnection with the body
- Acupressure, sound, and movement to shift stuck energy
- Space to explore altered states of consciousness, inner clarity, and self-regulation
- Practices you can take home and use when life gets overwhelming
Each month has a theme—but your breath will guide your process.
May Theme: Releasing Grief, Sadness & Depression Stored in the Body
We’ll focus on heart-softening, emotional flow, and reclaiming lightness after long periods of suppression and inner heaviness.You don’t have to “relate” to the theme. Your body knows where to take you.
You’ll receive what you need—whether or not your mind understands it.This session is ideal for those who:

“Naming Us” Session
The theme for this session is 'Naming Us'. An introduction to re-meeting each other in a new embodied and curious way, naming of your foundations and an opportunity to be seen and heard by one another.
To give you a flavour, the session will include the following types of activities:
💕 Somatic practices
- Mirroring (Welcome somatic connection exercise in your couple, finding physical contact through movement, coming into somatic presence & co-regulation)
- In-Sync Breathing (breathing as one organism, finding your rhythm somatically)
- Hello Hand (gentle touch and hand massage to focus on slow, embodied re-meeting)
✍️Writing Activities - Wheel of Life (a check-in activity to re-use for relationship MOT)
- What I Know of You (free flow writing activity, followed my conscious sharing)
- 3 Things (a writing activity on 'I bring, you bring, I've learned, I promise, we want', honing in on where you're at and where you want to go)
☁️Visualisations & Meditations
- Reliance Visualisation (guided visualisation tapping into the felt sense of memory, savouring the embodiment of reliability in the couple)
- Momentum Meditation (guided meditation to encourage expansive momentum together)
- A Perfect Day (visualising the perfectly crafted future, from awaking to sleeping and all that's between)

Hello! I am Meryl Rowlands, an accredited somatic coach whose approach is based in the teachings of Internal Family Systems, Hakomi (mindfulness), Gestalt and person-centred psychotherapy, interpersonal neurobiology and embodied cognition.

1. Releasing Grief, Sadness & Depression Stored in the Body
A journey into the emotional heart. We focus on softening the chest, restoring breath flow, and making space for what’s been held in for too long.2. Releasing Shame, Suppressed Anger & Armor of Chronic Tension
Shame and repressed anger often live in the gut, pelvis, and jaw—creating tightness, fatigue, or inner shutdown. This theme works with deep somatic release to soften the “armor” we’ve built for protection.3. Releasing Overwhelm, Freeze & Anxiety Stores in the Nervous System
When life feels too much, the body may freeze or spin out. This theme focuses on grounding, discharging stuck survival energy, and bringing the nervous system back into regulation.📍 Location: Mujo, Cascais
