Lisbon Over 50 Social Group

Are you over the age of 50 and call the Lisbon area home? This is the social group for you! 😄👍Our goal is meet new people and to create lasting friendships with other residents of Lisbon who are 50 and over. All nationalities welcome, including Portuguese (claro que sim!), though our events are in English.

Most of us are working expats and retirees who chose to embrace Portugal - the people, culture, cuisine, and history. Viver a nossa melhor vida!
What do we do? We schedule monthly coffee meetups and drinks events to make new friends and catch up with familiar faces in our growing group. We hope to plan other events such as scenic walks, museum visits, festivals, music performances, picnics, and more! Though we need volunteers to become Event Hosts, so please get in touch to lend a hand. 🙏

Why do we still use the name Avocado 🥑? When the group started, we met at Avocado House, but sadly that cafe closed down.
