Buckley is fine with the heat and I was going to be in the area, but that event just cancelled so i'm going to stay home since it looks like its going to be a minimal turnout.

Too hot for this old man to go out tomorrow, regardless of the time of day

What I am saying is that if only 2 people are unhappy with the time I am not going to change it. It has been this time for years with no complaints. You are certainly welcome to come later and stay later as the park is open to the public.

I was there from 10 to way after 11 and did not hear such a conversation. Several pugs were there thoroughout the time period. This group has existed and met on this schedule for years. Since Saturday was your first meet up why don't you give it a chance. Just because one meet up generated more pugs at 11 doesn't mean it always happens that way.

so what are you saying...because you didn't hear the conversation, it didn't happen? I didn't make that up. As I was leaving the park (probably around 12:45-1) a pug and it's owner were walking in and the lady said she knew about the pug meetup, but didn't go because it was too early. I told her that I felt the same.

So sorry the time is not working for you as we would love to have you as part of the group but the time is working for everyone else and I do not feel a change has been requested from the rest of the group. I am also very concerned about a later meetup time in the warmer months as the pugs can not handle the heat. Thanks for your comments.

I understand what you're saying, but how many people come/came out at 10am? I talked to someone when I got there around 11:15 who said there were "like 5 pugs here earlier". I've never done a meetup before, but 5 doesn't seem like that many. It would just be awesome to have them all there at the same time! I also spoke with another pug owner who knew about the meetup, but said that 10 was too early for her.

The other nice thing about an early start time is that it leaves you the rest of the day to do other things. I know the Reynolds Park Group prefers the earlier time for this reason and also for the pugs sake. April's meet up was warmer than normal when we left at noon Zoey was already showing signs of being slightly overheated.

Matt no one has ever had an issue with the time. I am inclined to agree with Marie that earlier is better for the pugs. Especially in the summer when the temperature is a major issue for them. Thanks.

why so early? pugs like to sleep in on Saturdays!

Matt if everyone feels like you do, I would talk it over with Ashley, who is your host and make the change. Just remember in the summer months it might be to hot for the pugs later in the day.
