Bark in Balboa Park - 2/16/14 - 2 pm

San Diego Civic Organist Dr. Carol Williams and the Spreckels Organ Society present Bark In Balboa Park 8, a FREE, festive organ concert especially for pets and their music loving families on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. Bark in Balboa Park 8 is free and open to the public.

Beloved pets on leash are invited to enjoy an afternoon of classics, marches and animal themed organ music on the historic Spreckels Organ followed by a lively ‘pet and people’ parade across the Spreckels Organ Pavilion stage.

Representatives of the San Diego Humane Society will be on hand with pets to view and adoption information. All donations collected during the concert will benefit the San Diego Humane Society.

We did meet a few adorable pugs and their owners, but were disappointed that the event was so packed that it was difficult to find the pug meetup.
