Petco Walk.Run.Wag 5K9
The Petco 5k9 Walk Run Wag presented by Purina ProPlan is the national walk/run series open to both people and pets!
The mission is to promote healthy, fit lifestyles across the country while raising funds for the Petco Foundation.
The foundation has served as a voice for companion animals across the country since 1999. Each year, the foundation helps animal-welfare organizations find lifelong, loving homes for millions of orphaned pets, as well as fund spay and neuter efforts, animal assisted therapy programs and humane education.
All 5k9 Walk Run events include a 5k, 1-mile plus health and fitness expo for people and pets.

January 13 2013 starting at 6:00 am Race Expo - Del Mar Fairgrounds. Online registration closes: Thursday January 10th 2013. All Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-deferrable. The entry fees listed above do not include the online processing fee. (https://secure.eventsonline.ca/events/walkrunwag/?eventid=1) Be sure to join the the "SD Pug Club" where it says "Join an Existing Team" on the registration page. Also specify that you want to enter the 1 mile race on the top of the entry form if you want to walk with the group of pug owners and their pugs. You are welcome to register for the 5K if you so choose, the entry fee is more and there will be fewer pugs (neither are good things, although the extra walking wouldn't hurt ;)
