CAMPING AT CINDER HILL CAMPGROUND EAST LAKE NEWBERRY CALDERA AUG.25-28

WE'RE HAVING OUR YEARLY WONDERFUL CAMPING TRIP! THERE ARE WATERFALLS, GREAT HIKING TRAILS, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, OBSIDIAN FLOWS, HOTSPRINGS, SHOWERS FOR A SMALL FEE, A SMALL STORE, RUNNING WATER, FLUSHING TOILETS, AND IT'S ON SCENIC EAST LAKE WHICH IS NEXT TO SCENIC PAULINA LAKE.  WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?

WE HAVE RESERVED 2 CAMPING SITES AND CAN HAVE 6-7 PEOPLE PER SITE.

CARPOOLING PLAN:

TO CARPOOL FROM EAST SPRINGFIELD, MEET AT DENISE'S AT 9AM.

TO CARPOOL FROM WEST OR NORTH EUGENE, MEET AT LASHELL'S AT 9AM.

EVERYONE ELSE CAN MEET AT CINDY'S HOUSE AT 9:30 AM AND WE'LL LEAVE FROM THERE.

IF YOU'RE PLANNING TO BRING YOUR DOG, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO BE A DRIVER IN THE CARPOOL.  WE NEED TO PLAN ON BRINGING NOT MORE THAN 4 CARS.  WE WILL GET 2 FREE PARKING PASSES AND EVERYONE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3-4 PEOPLE IN THEIR CAR.  DRIVERS OF ANY ADDITIONAL CARS MUST PAY THE EXTRA $8 A DAY FOR THEIR OWN PASS.  GAS FOR THE CARPOOL WILL BE $25.

WE'LL BE DOING GROUP MEALS WITH 2 TEAMS - A BREAKFAST TEAM (3 MEALS) AND A DINNER TEAM (3 MEALS).  THE COST SHOULD BE AROUND $20 PER PERSON FOR 6 MEALS.  PLEASE TELL US WHICH MEAL TEAM YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON.

LUNCH WILL BE ON YOUR OWN.  THERE IS A STORE NEARBY OR YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN FOOD OR MAKE YOUR LUNCHES AHEAD OF TIME.

COST FOR THE CAMPING IS $10 A PERSON.  KIDS ARE FREE.

TOTAL COST SHOULD BE $55 A PERSON FOR THE GAS, CAMPING SITE, AND FOOD.

A DEPOSIT OF $10 IS REQUIRED BY THE NEXT PLANNING MEETING ON JULY 7TH.

ON THE WAY OVER WE'LL STOP IN CRESCENT AROUND 1 PM FOR LUNCH AT A RESTURANT OR YOU CAN BROWN BAG IT - YOUR CHOICE.  WE'LL ALSO STOP AT A STORE FOR ANY LAST MINUTE 'OH, I FORGOT THAT' ITEMS.

    We have 2 cars driving to the camp site and have room for 2 more people in these cars we would really like to fill the cars up so if your thinking of coming you should sign up now or bring a friend if you have already signed up
