Recruiter and Job Listing Policy

Many of our members are or would like to be professional Python programmers. We're always happy to hear about jobs using Python, especially in the Atlanta area. There are a couple of ways you can share that information with our members.

First, if you sign up as a member of the group here on, you'll have permission to post to the discussion board ( Our members know to keep an eye on the board for job listings, so anyone looking will see your message. Feel free to post as much information about the position as you're comfortable sharing in a public forum (anyone can read the board, even non-members).

Second, we start our regular monthly meetings with announcements, including open positions. Most often those come from members, but recruiters are welcome to make announcements, too, and frequently do. There is usually a break in the middle of the program, which gives everyone a chance to mingle, and folks interested in talking to you can exchange contact information with you in person. So, please come to a meeting and be prepared to give a 1-2 minute introduction of the opening(s) you have to the group. And hang out and have a good time with us for a little while, too!
