    • What we'll do Race at the outdoor track. We can either do races on the small track or do open lapping on the big track • What to bring Driver's license, close toed shoes. Racing suit and helmets are provided by F1. It is nice to get gloves (cheap mechanics gloves from autozone do the trick). Gloves are not provided by F1. If you have your own helmet, you can bring it if you want. It will save you from having to wear a headsock if you use F1's helmets. • Important to know Please note that although we will meet at 5 - we may not get to race till later - sometimes as late as 6 if they are busy. However, Sunday 5 PM is usually not peak race hour as most people are at home fighting Sunday night blues. There maybe coupons available online from living social, groupon etc.

    • What we'll do Race at the indoor track. Each participant is free to choose how many races they want to race. Folks new to racing at F1, pick 1 or 2 races and then add on extra races if they like it. Purchasing multiple races at a time offers a discount. • What to bring Driver's license, close toed shoes. • Let's Go Race at the Outdoor Track
Let's go race at the great outdoors :-) Karts, Suits and Helmets provided. They have two formats that we can choose from - Arrive and Drive and Open lapping. You are welcome to pick what feels best for you independently as well. The Arrive and Drive is run on a quarter mile track, and the Open Lapping, I believe is about a half a mile. The Arrive and Drive requires a day license, while the Open Lapping session requires a competition license. Pricing details are here: http://www.f1outdoors.com/arrive-drive

This is informational and/or go at your own pace event. I'm not sure if I can make it, but, if I do, I'll be going for the Saturday event. It is the only track I know of that lets you walk along the entire track, and free pit entry before the race to get up close and personal with the cars. If you haven't been, definitely worth the trip. http://limerock.com/memorial-day-weekend At Lime Rock for Memorial Day weekend, the Pirelli World Challenge series brings all six PWC classes: GT/GTA, GTS, GT Cup, plus the three Touring Car classes – TC, TCA and TCB. PWC's featured class is GT, which are production-based cars in the international GT3 specification from manufacturers including Cadillac, Bentley, Acura, Nissan, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Mercedes and more. (GTA cars are of the same type, but raced by high-level amatuers, not professionals.) The GTS cars are run to the less expensive international GT4 rules, and include Camaros, Mustangs, Audi TT and the like. GT Cup are the international spec-racer Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris. The Touring Car classes are for smaller-engined BMWs, Porsches, Mustangs, Hondas, Mazdas, Chevrolets, Minis, Nissans and KIAs. There are eight races (three on Friday, five on Saturday) over the weekend. All the GT-class races at Lime Rock are being run in the new, exciting "SprintX" format: 60 minutes long, with a mandatory driver swap at starting 25 minutes into the race
