I am looking forward to meeting members of the group next Thursday. I am returning from Chicago, but should be sufficient time to make the meeting.

The topic for general discussion for the November 14 RAFT library meeting will deal with the question of Atheist/Humanist churches, and what things that are frequently provided by churches you think could and should be see provided by non-church providers. These things include but aren't limited to: rights of passage, community, and help raising children. Some people look to the UU church. The October/November 2013 edition of Free Inquiry has an article called “The Godless Congregation: An Idea Whose Time Has Come.”

In the next post are some links which were found by doing internet searches, which you can do too.
