"2013: The Year in Science" (A Science Cafe event @ the Daily Planet Cafe)

(The event starts at 7, but most people get there at 6:30-6:45 to get a good table, and maybe a light dinner and/or drinks from the cafe).

Come join us at the Daily Planet cafe for their science talk of a review of 2013 year of science. They will have a panel of scientists and journalists from new findings and discoveries from this past year. The talks will arrange from exploding meteors over Russia or new type species of mammals and dinosaurs. Also new type of treatment for HIV and universal heath care just to name few things that happen in science of 2013. So if you into science this might be something to enjoy a listen too.

For more info. http://naturalscience.org/programs-event/science-cafe-2013year-science

(This event is cross-posted with other Science Loving MeetUp Groups, and we will probably find a common table)

PARKING:
There's Free Parking very close to the event! Park at The Green Square Parking Deck, 120 W Edenton St, Raleigh, NC 27603.
Its free, (if you leave after 5). Drive all the way to the back/north end of the deck and park near that elevator. That way it's a very-short, mostly-covered walk to the back entrance of the Museum Lobby.

Daily Planet Cafe' - is a great place to meet and see presentations while enjoying some local-sourced food and beer, or enjoy the full bar.

Good talk they had I think the two topic that were a hit was heath care and astronomy. Thanks Ed for the idea of this event and also hosting.
