How often would you like to see a regular event, like help feed the homeless, on the calendar?

We have an opportunity to join SoupMobile in their cause to feed the homeless by helping them prepare sandwiches and food on a Saturday for the upcoming week. I would like some feedback on how often you would like to see this scheduled based on the time you have available to commit and what time of day you would prefer.

Please choose the area closest to you or the area you prefer.

We have an opportunity to volunteer at Long Term Care facilities (nursing home) at various locations across Dallas county. Because of this, we'll be able to provide volunteer opportunites in Irving as well as Dallas and surrounding areas. Prior to selecting a home or scheduling, I need to know your level of interest, location preference and day preference. Please take the time to rate your preference - 10 being high interest or preference, 1 being lowest.

Would you prefer doing a happy hour on a Fri. evening, Sat. at Dave & Busters, or Sun brunch?

We are organizing a Back to School, white shirt drive for The Promise House, a shelter for homeless teens, runaways and at risk youth. They need DISD uniform approved whit shirts in all sizes. These can be purchased almost anywhere. I will post more details about the drive once it is scheduled.

If we scheduled day as Kettle bell ringers for the Salvation Army, would you sign up for 2hours?

We have an opportunity to volunteer as Kettle bell ringers for the Salvation Army in Nov/ Dec. We would work in pairs, in 2 hour shifts. We can work one of the Cowboy home games at TX stadium (like Thanksgiving Day), or another location - like a mall. What we need to know first is how many of you would be interested enough to sign up if you were free to volunteer on a scheduled day. We'll be ringing in pairs, so you won't be solo. If y'all are interested enough, we'll post another poll on locations, dates, times ect, and schedule with the Salvation Army thereafter. A HUGE THANK YOU to ANGELA AUSTIN for gathering the information on this opportunity...thank you for being so generous with your time and so diligent in your follow up, Angela. :-) Please help your organizers plan your events by taking a moment to participate in this poll. We welcome and appreciate your feedback! Many thanks, Melanie P

What day could you volunteer as a bell ringer for Salvation Army?

Salvation Army Kettle Program This campaign funds most of the Salvation Army's programs, and they desperately need bell ringers to volunteer. If you decide to sign up when the event is posted, please know we'd need two volunteers to pair up every two hours during 10am-8pm, so we'll need 10 volunteers for one day at the mall. However, they need 160 total volunteers at the game, so any number of people can sign up for that date. Please take time to vote, so we'll know what day/days to schedule. Thank you!!
