A message from Paula Branson, Organizer of the former meetup group Raw at the River

Hi Everyone, Shannon and Sam have graciously offered to send out this notice to members of "Raw Food Atlanta and Beyond" to assist me in trying to communicate with those of you who were also members of the "Raw at the River" meetup group. The "Raw at the River" Meetup website was maliciously destroyed last month, after each of the 438 members, including me, received a notice that he/she had been removed from the group. Unfortunately, I had never anticipated such an event, so I had not downloaded the mailing list for the group. I am hoping that we will be able to get the word out to former members to let them know that the group will continue to meet in the same location (at my home in Buckhead), but will have a new name. I just launched the new meetup site for the group, now called "Exploring Raw Food Atlanta". You can find the new meetup website by going here: www.meetup.com/exploring-raw-food/ For those of you who were members of "Raw at the River," I am so sorry for any confusion that you may have had regarding the notice that you had been removed from the group. I was disturbed when I received the notice, and I can imagine that you were, too. I hope that the efforts of someone to destroy the group by ejecting each of the members and then destroying the site will not discourage you from joining up with the re-named group for the great meetup activities that are on the horizon. A meeting for the group is already scheduled for February 25. Please check it out on the new website. If you know others who were members of "Raw at the River," I would very much appreciate it if you would share the information about the new group with them. Thanks to Shannon and Sam for sending this message and thanks to you for checking out the new group website. www.meetup.com/exploring-raw-food/ I look forward to seeing you at a future meetup!
