The Redskins first offensive play and your knew it wasn't going to be a good day. But the D held and forced the Giants into a 3 and out. The Redskins got the ball and methodically worked down the field culminating in 3 points. Once the Redskins went up 17-0 you know you still felt unsure, like this is all going to unravel. 20-3, 23-3 and you still weren't sure, until the clock read 0:00 and the Redskins were up 23-10. FOr the first time since 1999 the Redskins swept the Giants and they did it convincingly. For the first time this season the Redskins were on the positive side of the TOs, ending at +1. The defense played lights out - 3 TOs, 3 sacks, and held the self-labeled "elite"qb to a 14 QBR in the first half.

The Redskins ran 40 run plays, even though Helu and Royster didn't total 100yds rushing. Kyle stuck with run and Rex converted crucial 3rd and longs. This was a solid win all around, would've loved to have kept the Giants our of the end zone but still a convincing win.
