3. First Entrepreneurial Speaker: Mr. Adam Leonard

Founder/CEO for NewStart Solutions, L3c

Mr.  Leonard will be presenting "CrimeSuspect.NET" to the RA Group

About Adam Leonard: He is a former infantry Marine and a decorated Police Officer of ten years. He resigned after a tragedy took the lives of his entire patrol squad 11-29-09.  Adam, came back to his hometown of Colorado Springs to begin his third career as an Internet Crime Fighter.  He will be updating the group on the progress he is making with his new CrimeSuspect.NET platform that has been in development over the last 6 months.

Adam is an ex-Marine as well as Police Officer) will start out our meetup presentations with a "Denver Sneak Peak" of the progress he has made on the development of his MVP Prototype of the CSN Solution.  You are in for a treat to see the progress that has been made on this unique platform.

Why CSN is needed...

Local Law Enforcement Lacks an “integrated” database to search and share crime data from both public, and private sources… Why ?  Citizens do not have access to and are not encouraged to contribute to the database of wanted suspect information…

Why CrimeSuspect.NET is Different …

We build “Smart” Web based Alerting and Notification Solutions
We deploy Crowd Sourcing citizens utilizing State of the Art Cloud Technology to Integrate All Pre-existing Databases.

Value Propositions for Law Enforcement:

We bring “Community” back into Community Policing.
We reduce Administrative Costs with More Efficient Use of Manpower.
We use State of the Art Technology with Maximum Information Sharing and Offender Accountability.

Value Propositions for The Public
We use Real Time Data from Web and Mobile Platforms.
We Use Crowd Sourcing to Give the Public Ownership of their Communities.
We offer Free and Instant Access to Offender and Mapping Data, Tips and Alert Solutions, Shopping Awards Program and Complete Anonymity!

5. New Ideas/New Approaches for Regular Angels:

I'm open to looking at ideas and concepts from the group and from Members who would like to take the Regular Angels to another level to see if we can address the interests of our angel investors and identify the kind of business or entrepreneurial opportunities they are seeking.  I've been kicking around some ideas on how best to "accommodate" your unique deal-flow evaluation needs, and want to "pick your brains" as to what you really want from this group.

We will have an “Open Mic Segment” where you can voice your concepts and ideas for what you would like to see for the RA group moving forward.

6. Regarding Meeting Sponsorship:

So if any of the members in group would like to help sponsor refreshments for the event, please let me know and we can feature you or your chosen restaurant as a sponsor.  Having a quick snack, or a soda, or coffee is always preferred.

So, this is the "Re-Start and Envisioning" Meeting for the Regular Angels Group to chart a new course, develop a road-map of goals and objectives, and to put in place some kickstart initiatives to start addressing capital formation challenges for our Colorado-based entrepreneurial and small business communities.

Let's get a good initial turnout and put this group back on track !

I would like to try to attend this meeting although I'm coming from Fort Collins. I am about to begin my tenant finish for my women's spa, I am also currently interviewing staff. This business is going to happen and we hope to open by mid-October, but I'm going into a lot of debt to make it happen. Might be nice to pitch it to "Angel' investors and ease the debt to make this happen.

Joya, looking forward to having you attend... and you might in fact meetup with angel investors who might be attending. As you know it's not always "guaranteed" that a large number of investors show up to any given meetup, but we do our best to notify them of quality companies presenting, and to include their feedback and input into the process so that they can help to educate and inform entrepreneurs about their needs and special requirements. Too often we over emphasize the "entrepreneur to investor" communications channels, but do not provide enough "reciprocal" opportunities for investors to help educate and mentor entrepreneurs. At Regular Angels: Micro-Funding Group this will be a staple... Both Investors and Entrepreneurs get to present, speak, contribute, etc. So it should be an engaging night.

Hi Mike. Thanks. Due to the flash flooding at the moment I think I have to opt out of driving down to Denver from Fort Collins. Sorry to miss it. Maybe next time...

Chris, thanks for the offer of using the Metro Denver Enterprise Center conference room... Really appreciate this. I believe I might have attended another meeting their with an invention group about a year ago. Should I coordinate the room through you or one of the Admin's at the MDEC ?
