Another Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Opportunity - November 3rd ? Brooklyn

REIA NYC is a Community Volunteer Partner for Habitat for Humanity – New York City
 
We are looking for volunteers for one of our Bedford-Stuyvesant projects.  The scope of work is drywall and possibly painting. 
 
Thursday November 3rd – 15 volunteer slots available – 8:45am to 4:00pm – Bedford-Stuyvesant – scope of work is drywall & possibly painting – continuing project
 
As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of phases of construction – framing walls, installing insulation, hanging drywall, laying down hardwood floor and tiling, painting the interiors, putting up trim and doing finish work. We are looking for individuals with or without construction skills; however, all volunteers must be 16 or older.
 
Please contact Barbara Wengerter (Habitat for Humanity – New York City) at (212)[masked] ext 315 or via email to [address removed] ASAP if you are available to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity on behalf of REIA NYC on this day.  Space will be filled on a first come first served basis.  All volunteers must be 16yrs of age or older and you are responsible for your own lunch.  Please note that volunteers must wear thick-soled shoes or boots (no sneakers) and long pants (no shorts).
