Ride Around Lake Tahoe

8:00 AM firm start!
C+ and B cyclists can meet at Preston Field in Incline Village and enjoy the ride as quickly or slowly as desired. We usually stop for lunch in South Lake Tahoe before tackling the steepest climb around Emerald Bay. There are plenty of cafes and convenience stores for food and water on the western and southern shores.

The Route:
From the Preston Field parking lot (a half mile east of the traffic circle at the bottom of Mt Rose Highway in Incline Village) we take a clockwise direction around the lake towards Spooner Summit and then on to South Lake Tahoe. Next up is Emerald Bay and a short break at the Emerald Bay viewpoint followed by Tahoe City and then back to Incline Village's Preston Field.

NOTE: Check posting 2 hours before ride time for weather-related and other changes. Helmets are required and bikes should be in good working order. Please no ear buds or headphones. Be prepared with a spare tube and pump. Class 2 E-Bikes are not permitted.
