f you've ever wished PowerShell had a requirements.txt -- a simple file that says "here's what this project needs" and just handles it -- that's exactly what PSDepend is. Warren Frame (RamblingCookieMonster) built it years ago, and its become a staple in many projects in the community.

We're reviving it under PowerShellOrg with a proper modern foundation: Pester 5 tests, GitHub Actions CI, PSResourceGet support, and an optimized build system. But a module is only as healthy as its community, and we need people who care about PowerShell tooling to help shape where this goes next.

Join us if you want to contribute -- whether that's reviewing PRs, adding dependency types, writing tests, or just kicking the tires and filing issues. No prior PSDepend experience required.
