Hike with (or without) your Dog, Turning Point Park

Easy/moderate, 90 minute hike.

Meet in the Turning Point Park lot at the end of Boxart Street, off Lake Avenue. (Click on map above for location and directions).

As all our regular hikes are no-pet events we are scheduling one of our occasional hike-with-your-dog outings in Turning Point Park.

The hike is intended for, but not limited to, people who wish to bring their pets.

As always the rules of the county parks apply:
"All pets must be leashed and you are responsible for cleaning up after them." Therefore for this outing all dogs must be leashed while in the park and you must clean up after them.

For more information contact the hike leader Chris C. at 247-9237.

Very much enjoyed the hike! Definitely a little too fast for the little dogs, but carrying him will help build my strength! So glad to have found this group and be making new friends-looking forward to our next meetup!

Chris, Thanks for a great hike for Harold and me. We really enjoyed getting out on a beautiful Sunday morning. For some reason, my rsvp did not go thru so I am rating the hike here.

I will be tentatively attending and am hoping to bring along one of my dogs, JoJo, who is a tripod. Amputated 3 months ago and very active. Can anyone tell me if this will be a good hike for him, terrain-wise? Thanks!
