Black Friday Warren Dunes Hike and Walk on the Beach

Start time is 10am CT/11am ET

This Black Friday, instead of spending a stressful day engaged in end stage capitalist consumption, spend a healthy day of beautiful nature, vigorous exercise, and warm fellowship hiking with us at Warren Dunes State Park.

We will take a walk on the trails of Warren Dunes and a walk along the beach. This will be a moderate hike but the trails can be difficult due to the dunes so be mindful of your fitness level. The hike will be 5 to 6 miles.

The entrance fee is $11 non resident and $9 for resident. We can meet at Sawyer Garden Center and carpool over. If you would like to do that, let me know. We will need to be there by 10:30 ET, ready to depart at 10:45 ET.

At the park, we will meet in the northern most open parking lot near the pavilion.

There are restaurants nearby, I’m not sure how busy they will be. Greenbush Brewery is a crowd favorite.
