Pathfinder Society @ Die Hard Games

The Accursed Halls (by veteran RPG designer Richard Baker): Buried beneath the castle of Thornkeep lie strange passages and chambers that once belonged to a cruel Azlanti wizard of eons past. Goblins have begun excavating the so-called Accursed Halls in hopes of finding a lost goblin artifact, though their constant battles with the undead that haunt these corridors has left them blind to the dungeon’s other myriad wonders.

    Detailed Pathfinder Report on Thornkeep:
    1. Bards talk a lot, so glad I am cursed and can't understand them while battling smelly goblins.
    2. If someone asks you if you're a God, you say yes.
    3. Don't trust rabbits, they'll point at you when the Wight attacks.
    4. Never overthink things.

    Things I learned from Bonekeep;
    -always bring rope
    -goblins hate shellfish
-Having an Angel on your team is amazing

      That's not detailed enough? Geez.

I think he meant "Thornkeep" instead of "Bonekeep". (David, look what you started.) Does the Pathfinder Society actually expect our reports to be accurate, too?

I take it it went rather well then?

It went... swimmingly. People were chased by all undead, someone became a god, everyone learned that wizards are A-holes, the rabbit-barbarian let an angel take the hit, giant mosquito repellent is everyone's friend, never trust fog, and death from above!

    Thornkeep. Bonekeep is next right?

Thornkeep! Right! Bonekeep would have killed all of you and I wouldn't have felt bad.

Bonekeep: Forgotten Halls turned out to be a hall of Danger and Rainbows!

I'm interested in joining... I haven't played Pathfinder before, but have heard good things. Are you still open for a new player?

      Hi Taren,
Characters are generated using a twenty point buy system for PFS. Be sure to read the Guide that Everett posted above for more information on character creation.

It can be overwhelming. I'm sure if you come to game with a general idea of what you want to play someone can assist you. For point buy I usually use one of the following as a quick 20 pt array: (18, 13, 10, 10, 10, 10) OR (17, 14, 12, 10, 10, 10) Or my favorite: (16, 14, 14, 10, 10, 10)

Oh yeah! I should mention that this is a module playable by characters level 1 and 2. This specific one is playable in the 4.5 hour time slot, as are a lot of the Thornkeep modules. As a module, it will give each character 3XP, which is a full level in Pathfinder Society! So I highly invite those players that will have level 2 characters by that point (Seth, Heather, lookin' at you!) to give it a try with those characters. That will help you catch up with some of the higher level agents (Kleetus, Kalahi, Jade, Laughing Crow, and the like) and get you into some mid-level shenanigans. It's also a great way for new players to learn the game as it covers a lot of different areas! New players feel free to hop right in!

Doug, this module is replayable by characters that are level 1, and playable once by characters of level 2. You can play it as many times as you want with a level 1 character. If the last time you played it was with a level 1, then you could bring a level 2 if you wanted!

Oh cool! I'll bring a lvl 1! Thx!
