No Show Policy

Event No-Shows

A "No Show" is defined as a "YES" RSVP at the time posted for the start of the event but the person did not show up for the event and did not contact the event organizer.

The week prior to an event to which you have RSVPed "YES", you will receive an e-mail from the organizer reminding you of the event. That e-mail will also include the organizer's cell phone number. If you are unable to attend an event to which you have RSVPed "YES", you have three options before the event begins:

1) Change your RSVP to "NO" on the site.
2) Call the event organizer.
3) E-mail the event organizer.

Simply not showing up for an event to which you have RSVPed "YES" without doing one of those three constitutes a "no-show" and warrants removal from the group.

Time Management

The time posted for an event represents the time that we will enter the theater. Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes BEFORE the time posted. Many of our plays are on Friday nights. Please allow time for traffic, parking, construction, or any other potential delay.

"Maybe" RSVPs

There are no "Maybe" RSVPs. If you are not sure, please RSVP "NO". If there are spots remaining when you're sure you're going, you may updated your RSVP to "YES" at that time.

Our events generally fall into two categories. The first is General Admission. Since there is no reserved seating in this case, we need to enter the theater as early as possible in order for a group our size to sit together and get good seats. Waiting for someone that doesn't show up is not fair to the group. If you're going to be late, please call the event organizer and we will attempt to hold a seat (assuming the theater permits it.)

The second case involves advance tickets. In that case, the organizer has all of the tickets in hand and cannot enter the theater until the last person has arrived. No-shows and late arrivals put an added burden on the event organizer.
