All come together for a specific, positive purpose and the level of community, even to newcomers, is deeply appreciated.

Seems a good source if you're looking for more information on the practice of meditation, with weekly lectures, and actual group meditation sessions.

I'm glad to have found this group for a few reasons: 1) the people there honestly seemed interested and involved in the group and its purpose; 2) the people were welcoming and friendly; 3) it gives me another community with whom to learn and to build on my practice; 4) it gives me a chance to do as I have heard many times—investigate various traditions and learn from different teachers through direct experience; and 5) it is much closer to both work and home; thus making an evening out for a talk and a sit a couple hours out of an evening rather than a journey easily twice as long.

When you learn to quiet the mind, from all of its incessant thoughts, and focus on the task at hand in every moment, you realize that you have the power to accomplish all of your dreams. You'll be able to even accomplish greater dreams than you have ever dreamed before. Come and join this group and learn to cultivate this power that comes from within and help to heal the world from all the chaos of the never ending thinking mind.
